After the bankruptcy of Kroymans Corporation I managed the start throughof Kia in the Dutch market as a subsidiary of Kia Motors Corporation inSeoul (Korea) and KME(urope). In the restart, which we made in less than20 days, we were able to maintain service to the exhisting car park. Withalmost no damage to the brand image during this critical phase Kia now goesthrough a very succesful period with a significant growth in market share andvolume. In 2011 ran a big project in relocating the offices and creating a BrandExperience Center alongside A2 motorway.Kia marketshare grew to approx 4,5% in Dutch car market.

Greenib motorcycles import was an independ, private Benelux importer formotorcycles, scooters and mopeds. Brands represented: Moto Guzzi, Benelli,Malaguti, Hyosung and Voxan. The company had lost it's most importantfranchises (Harley Davidson and Triumph) just before I entered. The companyhad to be turned around dramatically by minimizing the operation and re-organizing the brand port-folio. Many parts of the operation were outsourcedand a focus on sales and marketing remained in the company. Spend a lot oftime in Italy to communicate with major supplier Moto Guzzi.Due to poor market conditions and financialy ailing brands I was forced toclose down the operation.
